    Sales Assistant (Recalibrations)

    Role Overview

    To provide daily sales and administration support to the Recalibration Sales Executive. This role is therefore varied and full of activity including inbound and outbound calls.


    • Recalibration order status checking and taking appropriate action
    • Sales order processing and administration
    • Customer service, including answering queries, liaising with couriers, payment taking and order taking
    • Assistance as directed by the Calibration Sales Executive
    • Inbound and outbound calls handling

    Person Specification

    • Sales and/or administration experience is preferable
    • Customer service experience
    • Numerate and literate
    • Good attention to detail
    • Ability to use own initiative well
    • Enthusiasm and desire for success
    • Pleasant and professional telephone manner
    • Calm under pressure


    • Reports to Sales Director
    • Part time: 10:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday
    • Salary: £7.00 to £8.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

    Operations Assistant

    Role Overview

    Due to expansion, we are recruiting an Operations Assistant to join the Operations Team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the department.


    • Booking in of all deliveries
    • Shipping customer orders
    • Assisting with returns
    • Filing of documentation
    • Updating CRM and MRP systems
    • Maintain and replenish fast moving stock items in workshop
    • Provide other ad-hoc support to Operations Team as required

    Person Specification

    • Computer literate
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel & Outlook)
    • Good communication, organisation and problem solving skills

    Electronics/Firmware Engineer

    Role Overview

    We are looking to recruit an Electronics/Firmware Engineer to work as part of the Tele-Products team.

    As a small business, your duties will be many and varied and no two days will be the same. However the primary responsibilities of the role are:

    • To develop new innovative products for the electrical safety testing and energy management markets
    • To provide hands-on technical product support both internally to our operations and production teams and externally to our customers


    • Design and implement high quality, electronic and embedded solutions in response to both customer and internally generated proposals and requirements
    • Project manage delivery of concepts, design, prototypes and final assemblies to time and budget
    • Provide timely and accurate support to technical queries arising both internally and externally


    • Design and optimisation of electronic systems components for electrical safety testing and energy monitoring & management
    • Project management of design projects, ensuring on time and on budget delivery
    • Presentation of design reviews stages and management of client relationship in partnership with other staff
    • Provide calculations, reports, presentation to qualify your design decisions for presentation to customers and/or Tele-Products management
    • Build and test (and when necessary oversee technicians in construction) of designed systems
    • Procurement of parts and management of stock items
    • Interface with customer and suppliers
    • Confer with other Tele-Products staff to implement operating procedures, resolve system issues and provide technical information
    • Research and analyse customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and resource requirements of designs or applications
    • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications

    Skills and Experience

    • BSc degree in related engineering subject
    • 3+ years relevant experience
    • Proven track record of designing and analysing electronic and embedded solutions
    • Proficient in at least one relevant programming languages (for example C or Java)
    • Proficient in the use of schematic and PCB layout software packages and embedded software packages
    • Proven expertise of managing projects within budget and to time


    • Good electronic and embedded aptitude and knowledge with excellent attention to detail
    • Creative with innovative ideas
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to deal with peers, directors and customers alike
    • Excellent time and project management skills
    • Results orientated, self-motivated, resilient and able to perform under pressure
